How to Join a Section
Once a year, in July, the KBA sends out the annual dues statement for the July 1 - June fiscal year.  All sections are listed on this notice and you can join sections on this statement as you pay your dues.  You may also join at any time during the year, however dues are not pro-rated.  If you join during the year without the dues notice you may make a check payable to the Kentucky Bar Association in the appropriate amount and include your name, bar identification number, mailing address, e-mail address and the section(s).  Mail to:

Section Officers Handbook and Workshop
Each July the KBA Staff conducts an orientation workshop for all Section Officers.  Invitations will be sent to all newly elected Section Officers after the annual meetings and elections.

In addition to the workshop sessions each officer is provided a guidebook for handling all section business.


KBA Section Listservs
Listservs are for section members only.  If your section does not participate, contact your section chair person.  Contact information for each section’s officers may be found on the individual section webpages.
