Laurie Higginbotham
Laurie Higginbotham is a trial and appellate lawyer with a national practice representing victims of catastrophic injury, with a special focus on Federal Tort Claims Act cases and medical malpractice. She is a partner with National Trial Law in Austin, Texas. She has tried cases in Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Virginia, and Kentucky, and handled appeals in the United States Supreme Court, the Texas Supreme Court and the 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, and 10th Circuits. She attended UT Austin for undergrad and law school, graduating from UT Law in 1999 where she was a member of the Order of the Barristers. She has been named a Texas Super Lawyer every year since 2013 by Thomson Reuters.
