Mailing List Request

Approved Entities

Mailing Lists can be provided to: 

• Providers of Kentucky Approved CLE Credit. The CLE Activity Code is needed.
• Nonpartisan Judicial Campaigns.  Judicial candidate must have previously filed appropriate election papers.
• KBA Board of Governors
• Volunteer Lawyer Groups for Recruitment and Local Bar Associations.
• KBA Endorsed Companies and Law Schools.

Restrictions on use of mailing lists:

One Use:  KBA mailing lists are for a ONE time use per request.  User shall not copy the list or any portion thereof or retain any information.  User shall not at any time permit mailing list information to pass into the hands of any other person, association, organization, company or other entity. User must sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Mailing Purposes Only:  KBA mailing lists are for mailing purposes only.  The lists shall be made available to the user for distribution of material to KBA members by mail only and shall not be used for telephone or personal contact.

General Restrictions:  KBA mailing lists shall not be used in conjunction with any distribution of material which would tend to mislead, misinform, deceive or which is distasteful in content or presentation. Use of the list is not released to any candidate for political office whether lawyer or layperson.

The Kentucky Bar Association mailing list is the property of the Kentucky Bar Association. KBA members who currently request their address be kept private will not be provided on the mailing list. KBA members who have opted out their email address will not have their email address provided on the mailing list. Requests not covered by KBA guidelines can be reviewed by the Executive Director who shall have the authority to deny or grant the request. Appeals can be reviewed by the Board of Governors.
