Potential New KBA Section:
Federal Practice
|
The Kentucky Bar Association is gauging interest in forming a Federal Practice Section to serve members who are federal court practitioners or wish to enhance their knowledge of federal practice. The proposed section would provide relevant educational programming, updates on legal and procedural developments, and a forum for dialogue between the federal Bench and Bar.
Under KBA Bylaws Section 11(i), a petition signed by at least 100 current KBA members is required for Board consideration of a new section. Members interested in supporting the creation of the Federal Practice Section are encouraged to indicate their interest by filling out this form.
Members submitting this form are indicating their support of the creation of this new section. Submitting the form is not a commitment to join the section, if created.

Fueling Access to Justice
|
As the charitable heart of Kentucky's legal community, the Kentucky Bar Foundation (KBF) is the only statewide grantmaking foundation supporting nonprofits that expand access to justice and advance law-related education across the Commonwealth.
|
This year, with reduced federal funding and increased community need, your support matters more than ever. Each KBF grant helps ensure Kentuckians, especially those in crisis or without means, can find help, hope, and fairness when they need it most.
We believe in the power of compassion, fairness, and collective action to change lives. When we stand together, we build a kinder, fairer Kentucky where help is never out of reach.
Please consider supporting the KBF's mission with a year-end gift. Your generosity fuels access to justice across the Commonwealth.
